This house is strategically situated, taking advantage of the natural slope of the terrain towards the east, which aligns with a view of a lagoon. The house opens up towards the best view and morning sunlight. The construction is single-story and consists of two main volumes with steeply pitched roofs to gain height.
These two sections house the bedrooms and the public area, respectively, and are connected by a pass-through entrance made of exposed concrete, linking the front and back of the house, culminating in a large pergola-covered gallery with views of the lagoon.
Special consideration has been given to the climatic conditions since temperatures can be extremely high in summer and low in winter. The roofs are constructed with highly efficient thermal panels, and the walls are also insulated. Cross-ventilation has been designed from east to west in both volumes, both in the bedrooms and in the living area, dining room, and kitchen. This approach is also reflected in the natural lighting, as there is daylight from sunrise to sunset.
