Nordelta, Tigre, Buenos Aires
Rapanui Nordelta was designed and executed as part of an ongoing construction project. Three available units within a reinforced concrete complex were combined for this endeavor. These double-height units, measuring 6 meters in height, were merged to create openings in the concrete. The meticulous ironwork reinforcements were left exposed to emphasize the industrial aesthetic.
In line with the strong industrial aesthetic both inside the premises and in its exterior context, the concept aimed to introduce a striking contrast. This involved the introduction of an immaculate counter, adorned with mirrors, which created a visual dialogue from a distance with the industrial aesthetic of the construction.
This theme was further accentuated when designing the connecting walkway to the terrace, resembling a structure supported by scaffolding.
The goal was to achieve a strong contrast in terms of shine, cleanliness, and design where the product was presented, showcasing high-quality chocolates amidst the various other functions of the establishment.
A nivel de layout dar las espaldas, es decir el retro mostrador a la fachada principal y a la recova nos permitió acomodar el programa separando la heladería además de ser el gran desafío.
In terms of layout, turning our backs, specifically with the retro counter facing away from the main facade and towards the arcade, allowed us to accommodate the program and separate the ice cream parlor, presenting a significant challenge. The terraces were designed with vegetation and plant-based amenities to soften the existing construction, although unfortunately, we were not granted permission to carry out this aspect of the project.
